1. Scope of Application
 

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our online shop by consumers and businesses.
 

1.2 A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that predominantly are outside their trade, business, or self-employed professional activity.
 

1.3 A business is a natural or legal person or a legally capable partnership acting in the exercise of its commercial or self-employed professional activity when concluding a legal transaction.
 

1.4 With respect to businesses: conflicting or supplementary terms and conditions shall not apply unless expressly agreed by us.
 

2. Contracting Party, Conclusion of Contract, Correction Options
 

2.1 The purchase contract is concluded with HFN Design & Engineering UG (limited liability).
 

2.2 By listing products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to conclude a contract for these items.
 

2.3 You may initially place products in the shopping cart without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order using the correction tools provided in the order process.
 

2.4 The contract is concluded when you accept the offer for the items in your cart by clicking the order button.
 

2.5 You will receive an order confirmation by email immediately after submitting your order.
 

3. Contract Language & Storage of Contract Text
 

3.1 The languages available for concluding the contract are German & English.
 

3.2 We store the contract text on our systems, but it is not accessible to you.
 

4. Delivery Conditions
 

4.1 Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are added to the stated product prices. Details are provided with the product offers.
 

4.2 Delivery Options

Products are shipped to the delivery address specified during checkout.
Delivery is by shipment only. Collection is not possible unless agreed in advance.

 

4.3 Freight Delivery (Forwarding Agent)

For freight deliveries, the forwarding company will contact you to arrange a delivery date.
 

4.4 Place of Delivery

Delivery includes transport and unloading at the first public curbside of the specified delivery address. Delivery inside buildings or installation is only provided if expressly agreed.
 

4.5 Recipient Cooperation

Unloading and any further transport to the final destination are carried out jointly by the driver and the recipient. Packaging dimensions are listed in the product offers.
 

4.6 For Merchants

The recipient is responsible for unloading and further transport.
 

5. Payment

We offer the following payment methods:
 

5.1 Prepayment (Bank Transfer)

We provide bank details by email. Goods are shipped after payment is received.
 

5.2 Cash on Collection

Payment is made in cash upon collection.
 

5.3 Credit Card

Your card is charged immediately after placing the order.
 

5.4 Apple Pay

Requires Safari, an Apple account, activated Apple Pay, authentication, and confirmation. Payment is processed immediately.
 

5.5 PayPal / PayPal Express

Requires PayPal registration and confirmation. Payment is processed immediately. PayPal may offer additional payment options.
 

5.6 Credit Card via PayPal

Your card is charged after shipment.
 

5.7 PayPal Invoice Purchase

Subject to address and credit check; payment is made directly to PayPal.
 

5.8 PayPal Payment Processing

Payments are processed via PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg, under PayPal terms.
 

5.9 All prices include VAT without shipping costs.
 

6. Right of Withdrawal
 

6.1 Consumers are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal as described in the withdrawal policy.
 

6.2 Businesses are not granted a voluntary right of withdrawal.
 

7. Retention of Title
 

7.1 Goods remain our property until full payment has been received.
 

7.2 For businesses: ownership remains with us until all claims from the business relationship are settled.
 

8. Transport Damage

For Consumers

Please report obvious transport damage immediately to the carrier and contact us.

Failure to report does not affect your legal rights but helps us assert claims against the carrier.

For Businesses

Risk transfers to you once the goods are handed over to the carrier.
 

9. Warranty & Liability for Defects
 

9.1 Statutory liability for defects applies.
 

9.2 Limitations do not apply in cases of injury to life, body, or health, gross negligence, breach of essential contractual obligations, or guarantees.

For Businesses

  • Limitation period for defect claims: 1 year from transfer of risk

  • Statutory recourse claims remain unaffected

  • Merchants must comply with inspection and notification obligations (§377 HGB)
     

10. Guarantees & Customer Service

Information on additional guarantees and their conditions can be found with the respective product and on the shop information pages.
 

11. Liability

We are liable without limitation:

  • for injury to life, body, or health

  • for intent or gross negligence

  • under guarantee promises

  • where the Product Liability Act applies

For slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damages.
All other claims for damages are excluded.

 

12. Dispute Resolution

We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
 

13. Final Provisions

If you are a business, German law applies excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
